Going through the photos and trying as always to arrange the world through neverending process of selection I struggle to build coherent narration. But perhaps there is no coherence in life, only chaos and road narrates itself best, when the plot is lost, it is time to move on. I come across this photo. Various thoughts come to my mind. I think about arts in general, the fact that I was having big plan for a project, OK, I shoot in black and white as we toil trough the heat towards our destination, but when we enter glorious city of Ajmer and urs begins, from now on all will be in wonderful colours. Well, the plan is one thing, and having enough colour medium format film in India is another. I bought all the supply of only shop in Delhi dealing in this stock. So now, once again, the scarcity will dictate a story, and modify my attitude. I give up with joy, mumbling in my mind, conceptual projects suck, usually devoid of emotion etc etc. So the problem is no problem any more, the story goes on. But liberal arts doesn’t mean art in this sense, it is rather about understanding the world we live in. The message on the t-shirt is something I believed in when I left high school to study business, in hope of separating life and love, work and pursuit of interest. Now I know it is a hopeless choice, and I dedicate this to all those who still believe in chasing careers for their sake, without questioning purpose, hope you are not helping to serve overpriced substitutes of happiness. It is no better than fries, maybe you are only paid more.

Cóż, plan to jedno, a znaleźć dość średnioformatowego filmu w India to inna sprawa. Wykupiłem cały zapas w jedynym handlującym nim sklepie w Delhi. Teraz znów niedobór opowie historię, wymusi formę, zmieni moją postawę i intelektualne uzasadnienie, OK, rezygnuję z radością, bełkocąc w myśli, koncepty są do dupy, zwykle wyprane z emocji i spontaniczności.
