Two nights ago I had another meeting with the Grandmother Yage. If words are at best decent translation of thoughts, and thoughts a castrated experience, I will do better just presenting totally unrelated fragments of visual reality from Kumbh Mela in India.

Dwie noce temu miałem okazję po raz drugi spotkać się z Babcią Yage.  Jeżeli słowa w najlepszym wypadku są przyzwoitym tłumaczeniem myśli, a myśli wykastrowanym doświadczeniem, może lepiej po prostu zrobię prezentując te dwa niezwiązane fragmenty rzeczywistości z Kumbh Meli, Święta Dzbana w Indiach.

Through the mind haze created by the copious quantities of inhaled  or eaten cannabis resin I can hardly see clearly,  and even less think, and that is what I am after, this state of mind when reason is on hold, the state I call traffic jam of thoughts, when words fail but feelings blossom, when I know but I can not utter, and then I can really absorb, rather than kill meaning with names, then, in the midst of crazy dance in the crowd, amidst laughter and bordering on rudeness, sometimes I click and get the gift of moment to hold on to.

Przez mgłę w głowie nadymioną z potężnych ilości konopnej żywicy ledwie widzę jasno, a jeszcze mniej myślę, i o to właśnie mi chodzi, o ten stan umysłu kiedy rozsądek i racjonalizm, myślenie i logiczny ciąg działań są zawieszone, stan który nazywam zatorem, świadomą dekonstrukcją, kiedy słowa zawodzą ale uczucia rozkwitają, kiedy czuję świat, kiedy wiem a nie mogę wypowiedzieć, wówczas mogę wchłaniać bez uprzedzeń, zamiast zabijać znaczenie nazwą, wówczas, w trakcie szalonego tańca w tłumie, w śmiechu, na granicy bezczelności, czasem naciskam spust i dostaję dar momentu do zatrzymania, póki piksele nie zżółkną.

Every single atom, happy… or miserable, becomes enamoured of the Sun, of which nothing can be said.  ///  “swa” is “higher self”, “asti” meaning “being”, and “ka” as a suffix. Swastika, being with the higher self.

Każdy atom, szczęśliwy czy nie, zakochuje się w Słońcu, o którym nie da sie już nic powiedzieć.  ///   Swastyka. Z sanskrytu, “być ze  swą wyższą jaźnią”.

Kumbh Mela means Festival of the Pitcher , and it is largest human gathering on earth. Millions of pilgrims meet on the banks of holy rivers and water is for them not only essential here for such multitudes, but simply a sacred thing.

Kumbh Mela oznacza Święto Dzbana, i jest to największe ludzkie zgromadzenie na ziemi.  Miliony pielgrzymów spotykają się na brzegach świętych rzek i woda jest dla nich nie tylko niezbędna ale po prostu święta.
